when is the next sneakernet dvd coming out?

New discs will generally come out at least once a year and generally more often to commemorate events such as the al|together festival.

when should i get my disc?

Since this is a distributed volunteer effort, it's hard to predict exactly when discs get mailed. We're not as organized as Amazon! Ordinarily you should expect to receive your package within a week (or two), or possibly longer if you are overseas.

when should i send my disc along?

After you have received a disc, you may keep it until we tell you the address of the next participant to whom you should send it. After you receive that notification e-mail, please send out the disc as soon as you reasonably can. Priority mail isn't necessary, though.

Once a later edition of a disc is released, people who are in possession of an older version will no longer be asked to send it to others. In this case the disc is yours permanently. Normally you will receive an email informing of you of this.

If your disc gets damaged or lost, or if your circumstances change such that you are no longer able to participate in the sneakernet, just drop us an email and we will remove you from the list of disc sources.
